Nneka Eke

Nneka Eke is a B.A. candidate in International Relations and Africana Studies in the class of 2010. Her area of concentration is Africa/African development. Nneka has been working for the Center for Africana Studies since her freshman year at Hopkins, publicizing CAS events to undergraduate students. She is involved in many organizations and activities on the Johns Hopkins campus including the Black Student Union (BSU), African Student Association (ASA), ASA dance troupe, and Mentoring and Assistance Peer Program (MAPP). She also writes for different newsletters on campus including BSU’s Perspectives, CAS’s Horizon, and the MAPP newsletter. Her interests include reading about racial politics and the Black experience worldwide as well as writing spoken word poetry.
