Funding and Opportunities

The Center for Africana Studies offers two opportunities for funding. Students interested in studying abroad and learning more about the African diaspora may apply for a study abroad grant. The grant provides $1,000 for the recipient to use toward a study abroad program.

Organizations, departments, and study groups may request funding from the Center for Africana Studies for activities, events, and projects through the application for co-sponsorship funding. Groups receiving funding through this method must fill out the Post-Activity Reporting Form after the activity, event, or project is complete.

Both undergraduate and graduate students can visit the Student Opportunities page for a listing of relevant jobs, internships, and volunteer positions.
