Rap Sessions in Africana Studies

Our Mission

The Johns Hopkins University Center for Africana Studies "Rap Sessions" is an initiative launched in Spring 2005.  The Rap Sessions are intellectual student exchanges on the black experience, which are typically led by graduate student facilitators.  Discussions are attended by JHU students, faculty, staff, administrators, and members of the broader Baltimore metropolitan area community.
