Research Grants for Summer 2010

Scope:  Applications for summer grants to support research in African Studies, African American Studies, or African Diaspora Studies.

Application should include:

(1) A  2-3 page proposal, describing the topic to be investigated and brief explanation of its importance to Africana Studies, describing specific plans for summer research,

(2) A budget statement of your research funding needs,

(3) Two letters of recommendation,

(4) Your CV

Awards:  The maximum award for undergraduates is $1000.00.
              Graduate students may receive up to $1500.00.
