The End of Man Symposium By Krieger School of Arts & Sciences
CAMS is hosting cultural theorist and photographer Joanna Zylinska of Goldsmiths, University of London to present her book(let) “The End of Man, A Tragicomedy,” which offers an ironic take on one of the dominant apocalyptic narratives of our times. Susana Rocha Teixeira is a doctoral candidate and lecturer at the English Department and member of the Heidelberg Graduate School at Heidelberg University. Her interests lie in twentieth- and twenty-first-century North American literature, movies and TV-series, and the American makeover culture. She will be a visiting scholar in the Spring 2017.
