Each year, the CAMS steering committee nominates three PhD candidates, for one-year, $25,000 fellowships. The fellows, who can come from any discipline in the School of Arts and Sciences, are freed from other obligations in order to focus on a media-related aspect of their research and studies. During the fellowship year, CAMS hosts the students for a lecture on the topic of their research. The next CAMS Fellowship symposium will be held April 2014.

Applicants must have a Krieger School faculty member from their particular academic division sponsor their project and bring it before the CAMS steering committee. Applications for 2014-2015 fellowships will be accepted starting from March 1, 2014 – March 31, 2014 and reviewed by eight Krieger School professors.
Guidelines for submission materials:applicants send in or email a small dossier consisting of a CV, a short description of their dissertation/research project focusing on media theory, and a letter of endorsement by a faculty sponsor/advisor.
