I will contribute to the first collated, edited version of the manuscript biographies of the lives of Philip Howard, Earl of Arundel, and his wife, Anne Dacre Howard, Countess of Arundel, two of the most influential figures who helped to preserve Catholicism under the reign of Queen Elizabeth I. This project will be based on nine extant manuscript versions of the biographies and will provide a much-needed primary-source resource for scholars studying the religions tumult in England during the Elizabethan era.
