Johns Hopkins offers students several different types of global opportunities.
Hopkins undergraduates may choose to study abroad via a departmental program, through direct enrollment in a university abroad, or through vetted specialized programs sponsored by third-party providers. Durations of study abroad programs range from summer and intercession programs to semester-long courses of study. Visit the Office of Study Abroad for more information.
Visiting international students have the opportunity to study for a semester or academic year at the Johns Hopkins University Krieger School of Arts and Sciences and may register for any undergraduate course for which they meet course requirements. Research and independent study options are also available for students planning to attend Hopkins for a full academic year.
Johns Hopkins also welcomes international students from our exchange partners throughout the world. All incoming undergraduate exchange students are received through the Office of Study Abroad at the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences. Exchange students must be approved by their home institution and applications should be submitted by your home institution to the director of study abroad.
