Call for Papers: Print Culture Master Class

The intensive and interdisciplinary one-week Print Culture Master Class will take place August 21-25, 2017, in Baltimore and Washington, DC, and is open to students currently enrolled at that time in a humanities PhD program at JHU. It will be hosted jointly by the Sheridan Libraries at JHU and the Baltimore Museum of Art, and it will be led over five, full-day meetings with curators and conservators of rare book and print collections at the National Gallery of Art, the Folger Shakespeare Library, the Library of Congress, the Walters Art Museum, and the George Peabody Library.

Interested PhD students should submit a general letter of application and request a brief letter of nomination from their dissertation advisers, sent by the application deadline of April 17, 2017 to earle.havens@jhu.edu. The number of spaces available to students will be limited.
