State of Maryland Public Policy

IAEGHSBE has a strong presence in economic policy analysis in Maryland. This interest stretches back to the early 1970s, when Prof. Hanke served as a Member of the Governor’s Council of Economic Advisers along with Prof. Carl Christ of Johns Hopkins and Prof. Clopper Almond of the University of Maryland. At present, Prof. Hanke edits The Maryland Journal which is published by the Maryland Public Policy Institute.
