Robert Tucker Prize for Best Thesis in International Studies Awarded

Flora Fan Fei and Corey Payne, recent graduates of the International Studies Program, were this year’s winners of the Robert Tucker Prize for Best Thesis in International Studies.

Flora’s thesis titled “China’s Popular Sovereignty: Rethinking Nationalism, Sovereignty, and Chinese Foreign Policy” was sponsored by Professor Sebastian Schmidt in the Department of Political Science.

Corey’s thesis was sponsored by Professor Beverly Silver in the Department of Sociology and is titled “Chaos and Class Struggle: The Limits of Inequality in the Long Twentieth Century.”
