On 10/23, the ISLC hosted a ‘Lunch and Learn,’ the second iteration of an ongoing series in which a select number of students have the opportunity to ask candid career questions to industry leaders.  The event featured Joel Meyer (JHU Class of 2004), the current Senior Vice President for the Public Sector at Dataminr.  In addition to talking about his experiences working for the Department of Homeland Security and the National Security Council, Meyer gave general advice on pursuing careers in national security.  If you have suggestions for other careers you would like to see featured in future ‘Lunch and Learns’, please let us know!
