Activities and Campus Services
Johns Hopkins has a Campus Ministry, which serves to promote and support spiritual development, religious tolerance, and social awareness among faculty, students, and staff.
DIGITAL MEDIA CENTER
The Digital Media Center serves to promote the use of technology for students’ scholarly and creative work and is open to all full-time students in the Schools of Arts and Sciences and Engineering.
HOUSING & DINING SERVICES
The Department of Housing and Dining Services’ website has information regarding off-campus housing options as well as information on campus-run dining options.
The J-Card serves as the official ID card for students, faculty, and staff. Undergraduate students are issued a card when they first arrive on campus to begin their academic program.
The Sheridan Libraries include the Milton S. Eisenhower Library and the HUT on the Homewood campus, the George Peabody Library, and the Garrett Library at the Evergreen House, among the libraries at the SAIS, Columbia, and Montgomery County campuses.
The Recreation Center offers a variety of exercise equipment and facilities as well as fitness classes. Undergraduate students are eligible to use the Recreation Center free of charge.
The Registrar’s Office is the official office of record for student academic data. Students will use their online web services for a multitude of functions, including registering for courses and checking their grades, among other tasks. Students are responsible for being aware of the information contained in the “Important Notices” section of the Registrar’s Office website. Staff from the Registrar’s Office will communicate with department administrative staff regarding upcoming deadlines, as well as regarding the resolution of incomplete or missing grades after the conclusion of each semester.
SHUTTLES, PARKING & TRANSPORTATION
The Parking & Transportation Office operates shuttles between the various JHU Baltimore-based campuses. A schedule for each shuttle route can be found on their website.
STUDENT HEALTH AND WELLNESS CENTER
Undergraduate students are eligible to use the services provided by the Student Health and Wellness Center.
