The Johns Hopkins Tutorial Project pairs JHU students with area public school children to tutor them in reading and math.

Founded: 1958

Baltimore City children tutored since then: 6,000+

JHU students who tutor per semester: 100-200

Student to tutor ratio: 1:1

Length of tutoring each semester: 10 weeks

Length of each session: 1 hour
