PHS Honors Research Projects

The following projects were conducted by 12 PHS students, under the mentorship of a JHU faculty member, as part of the PHS Honors course during the 2021-2022 school year.

  • Oct4 and Sox2 drive the immunosuppressive phenotype of glioma stem cells by Harmon Khela, under the mentorship of Hernando Lopez-Bertoni, PhD, Assistant Professor, Department of Neurology, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
  • Crowdsourcing Attitudes and Beliefs About Upper Extremity Donation in the United States Using Amazon Mechanical Turk, by Siam Rezwan, under the mentorship of Carisa M.
