For Faculty
Faculty must work through the Sponsored Projects Office when submitting proposals for outside funding for any research project. Funding agreements restrict research projects by the scope of work and/or the types and levels of expenditures. Additionally, there are reporting requirements. The Sponsored Projects section of the KASPER site will be a guide to processing and reviewing these funding agreements. The site includes information on the following:
- Proposals (the proposal stages) : Prior to a Principal Investigator (PI) submitting the proposal to an agency, the proposal must undergo an internal review. See this section for proposal requirements.
- Awards (the funding stages): This section focuses on all stages after a proposal is funded.
- Compliance : The University must provide sponsors with certain assurances regarding every research project. Check this page for details on compliance requirements.
