Understanding the function of the novel protein cpaf69 through co-immunoprecipitation studies
Cfap69 is a novel protein discovered to be critical in olfactory sensory neuron signal transduction. Furthermore, cfap69 mutant mice show intriguing phenotypes such as decreased blood cholesterol and male infertility that could hold major implications for human health. Here we aim to elucidate possible cfap69 binding partners through a co-immunoprecipitation pull down assay followed by mass spectrometry analysis to gain insight into the function of cfap69.
