Eugenia Liu ’96

Eugenia Liu is a partner at Morris Polich & Purdy, LLP, a California-based law firm established in 1969 and serving California and Nevada. MPP’s attorneys are experts in 18 fields and serve a wide host of private and governmental clients. Eugenia has practiced at MPP for five years and she specializes in the representation of long term care providers such as skilled nursing facilities, residential care facilities for the elderly and assisted living facilities. Eugenia represents the owners, operators, management companies and employees of long term care facilities in lawsuits involving claims of elder abuse, fraud, unfair business practices and violation of statutorily imposed duties, and she defends them against requests for punitive damages, civil penalties, injunctive relief and attorney's fees. She also advises such facilities regarding compliance with state and federal regulations and provides risk management strategies to minimize the impact of civil litigation.
