Jeffery Barber '95

Jeffrey S. Barber is a Partner/Managing Director of TA Associates where concentrates his efforts on private equity investments in business services, consumer products, financial services and other growth services companies. Jeff formerly served on the Boards of Florida Career College, Microban International and Tempur-Pedic International. Prior to joining TA in 2001, Jeff was an Associate in the Private Equity Group of Weiss, Peck & Greer and at Vestar Capital Partners, where he focused on leveraged buyout transactions. He was also a Financial Analyst at Morgan Stanley in the Investment Banking Global Power and Utilities Group. Jeff received a BA degree, with all University and Departmental Honors, in Political Science from Johns Hopkins University and an MBA degree, with Honors, from the Columbia Business School as a Beta Gamma Sigma Scholar.
