Sara Clemence ’96
Sara Clemence is deputy business editor for the New York Post and a co-founder of Recessionwire.com, which offers news, advice, trends and perspectives about the downturn. She was previously lifestyle editor for Condé Nast's business site, Portfolio.com, and a writer then lifestyle editor for Forbes.com.
Prior to that, Clemence was a business reporter at the Times Union in Albany, New York, and a reporter at the Anniston Star in Alabama, where she spent two years writing about billion-dollar toxic-tort lawsuits and chemical weapons.
Clemence has a B.A. in international studies and an M.A. in writing from Johns Hopkins University, plus an M.S. from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
