My project is the production of a feature-length film entitled “Westbaum in High School,” written, directed, and scored by myself. The film examines the absurdity, angst, and ultimately deep seriousness of the late teenage years. The film fits in to the narrative universe of a larger multimedia project entitled, “Westbaum, Everybody,” that I plan to continue after graduation. Working on the film has been one of the most enriching experiences of my life and has influenced me to pursue directorial work as a career.
