At our November 8, 2024 seminar we will discuss Professor Charisse Burden-Stelly’s book Black Scare/Red Scare (University of Chicago Press), in preparation for her in-person visit on November 15.

The Fall 2024 Arrighi Center seminar is focused on the theme of “Race, Capitalism and Development” and is led by Professors Zophia Edwards and InĂ©s Valdez. The seminar meets weekly on Fridays at 1:30 pm (Baltimore time) and is open to JHU students, faculty, postdocs, visiting scholars, as well as friends in Baltimore and around the world.
