Erin Chung’s recent book, Immigrant Incorporation in East Asian Democracies (Cambridge University Press, 2020), has received the 2021 Research Excellence Award from the Korea Ministry of Education and the National Research Foundation of Korea. According to the Ministry of Education press release (https://if-blog.tistory.com/m/12898), 50 projects (35 in the Humanities and Social Sciences and 15 in Science and Engineering) were selected for this award out of a total of 24,276 eligible projects (138 of these were nominated for the award). The award ceremony was held on December 16 and will be uploaded on YouTube in the next few weeks.
