The journal is supported by the Johns Hopkins University&#8217;s East Asian Studies Program and produced entirely by undergraduate students. The mission of the journal is to showcase undergraduate research and to promote awareness and scholarly discussion of a vibrant, diverse, and increasingly prominent region of the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">The Johns Hopkins <em>East Asian Forum and Review<\/em>&nbsp; now accepting papers for publication in our next edition. Undergraduate students are encouraged to submit research papers they have written, independently or for class, on subjects related to China, Taiwan, Japan, or Korea. Papers on Southeast Asia will also be considered on a case-by-case basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Submissions should meet the following guidelines:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Approximately 10-25 pages in length (double spaced), though submissions outside this range will be considered<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Properly referenced and cited in Chicago format<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Topics should be related to East Asia, but may be in a variety of academic disciplines: political science, international relations, literature, sociology, anthropology, history, and so on<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Original research is preferred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/tiny.cc\/EASFR24\"><strong>SUBMISSIONS LINK<\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The East Asian Studies Forum and Review is a biannual publication of interdisciplinary undergraduate research with a regional focus on East Asia.
