Many Environmental Science and Studies majors choose to study abroad to expand their horizons and experience life and environmental issues in a different country.  This fall, junior Erin Baggs is studying in Bhutan with the School for Field Studies in their Himalayan Environment and Development Studies program.  Read about her first impressions in this fascinating country.

The Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences and ENVS program are also gearing up to offer a field oceanography course focused on the carbon cycle again in January 2019 for an Intersession Abroad course in Bermuda.  Learn more about the course at the JHU Study Abroad website.  An online information session about the course will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018.  Sign up for the webinar using the link on this page.
