Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at JHU
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Johns Hopkins University (Osher at JHU) was founded in 1986 as the Evergreen Society to fill a need within the community for lifelong learning opportunities for semiretired and retired individuals. Today, it continues to thrive and to serve a population that is eager to stay engaged in the pursuit for knowledge. Osher at JHU is a membership community providing a vibrant educational and social environment while offering a rich array of stimulating courses, lectures, and activities during the day. Members have the option to join the Baltimore/Columbia community or the Montgomery County community and take classes in the fall and spring in 12-week semesters.
