The second annual Saul Zaentz High School Film Festival, a partnership between JHU FMS and the Baltimore School for the Arts, hosted a three-day event showcasing films by exceptional filmmakers from across the United States and Canada. In addition to offering cash prizes, the Festival also offered four free workshops with industry professionals, covering cinematography, sound recording, animation, and the art of the pitch and allowing young filmmakers a chance to interact face to face with these artists. The Festival encourages work from young people of all backgrounds, and seeks to amplify the voices of diverse and underrepresented filmmakers.
