Bacchae Before Residency at JHU

Tuesday, March 28th (5:15pm) – Bacchae Before and Open Process: responding to anti-trans legislation through art

Thursday, March 30th and Friday, March 31st (8pm) – Live performance of Bacchae Before

All events take place at the Merrick Barn on JHU’s Homewood campus.

Bacchae Before: A dance theater project co-directed by Maxe Crandall (playwright) and Hope Mohr (choreographer) inspired by the tragedies of gender reveal parties and Anne Carson’s Bakkhai. Official selection for the San Francisco Transgender Film Festival (2021).
