Film Screening: The Great Indian Kitchen (2021)

Join us for the final screening of the Film in South Asia series, hosted jointly by the Global South Humanities Initiative and the Department of Anthropology. Professor Rebecca Brown will be introducing The Great Indian Kitchen, a 2021 drama by Jeo Baby about a newlywed woman struggling with traditional gender roles in contemporary India.
The Film in South Asia series is affiliated with Anthropology course AS.070.218 (01), but all members of the Hopkins community are welcome to attend screenings.
