THR at the Baltimore Book Festival<\/p>\n\n
We\u2019re thrilled to announce that THR <\/em>will have a table and event at this year\u2019s Baltimore Book Festival<\/a><\/u>\u00a0on September 13th and 14th from 10 am to 6 pm<\/strong>\u00a0along several closed-off streets in Baltimore\u2019s Waverly neighborhood. Stop by to purchase old and new editions of THR, <\/em>talk to some of our editors and readers, or attend our reading!<\/p>\n\n Our reading, THR in the DMV: The Hopkins Review at Home<\/em>,\u00a0will take place from 10 am to 11 am on Saturday, September 13 on the CityLit Stage, at the corner of Barclay and E 31st street.<\/p>\n\n While The Hopkins Review<\/em>\u00a0publishes voices from across the globe, it also celebrates local talent in Baltimore and the DMV. Our community of writers includes journal contributors, journal editors, and students, faculty, and graduates of the Writing Seminars at Johns Hopkins University.<\/p>\n\n Join the journal for a reading by some of the area\u2019s most exciting literary talents, with both debut and established poets and fiction writers: Shane McCrae will be joined by Lindsay Bernal, Megan Howell, Elise Levine, Alejandro Lucero, and Lauren Russell.<\/p>\n\n Read more about the upcoming reading here<\/a><\/u>, and find the full schedule for day one of the Baltimore Book Festival below.<\/p>\n\n
