Alyson Waters<\/strong> is a translator from French to English of over twenty-five books. A two-time recipient of the\u00a0Florence Gould\/French-American\u00a0Foundation translation prize, she has also been awarded PEN and NEA grants. Her translation of Antoine\u00a0Volodine\u2019s The Monroe Girls<\/em> will appear with Archipelago Books in 2026, and her translation of Yves Ravey\u2019sTaormina<\/em> with NYRB, also in 2026.\u00a0 She has taught translation workshops at Yale, Columbia, and NYU, and was the managing editor of Yale French Studies for a very, very long time.\u00a0<\/p>\n
