Public Lecture: “Migration and Development: The Sending Country Perspective”

Join us for a lecture on the theme “Migration and Development: The Sending Country Perspective” by Professor Min Zhou. This lecture will be on Zoom, and is part of the Global Migration and Refugees: Applied Research and Practice Seminar, offered by the Department of Sociology.
Min Zhou is a distinguished professor of Sociology & Asian American Studies and the Walter and Shirley Wang Endowed Chair in U.S.-China Relations & Communications at UCLA. She currently serves as director of the Asia Pacific Center at UCLA and is a member of the National Academy of Sciences and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Her research focuses on migration, race and ethnicity, Asian diasporas, and urban sociology.
