By virtue of this legacy, international studies students have access to interdisciplinary research opportunities in fields such as anthropology, economics, history, political science, sociology, and area studies. It serves as a forum for students to publish their work regarding international relations and foreign affairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Am\u00e9ricas<\/a><\/em> was established in 2005 by students and faculty at Johns Hopkins University, under the endorsement of the then Program in Latin American Studies. Its mission is to provide a multi-disciplinary forum for students, scholars, and policy-makers from all over the world to present and discuss articles pertaining to Latin America, its issues, and its diaspora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n There are multiple grants available to international studies students for international travel and\/or language learning. They include the Aronson International Experience Grant, Brown Family Travel Fund, and more.
