The International Studies Program encourages its students to participate in major-relevant internships to learn about different occupations, test possible career paths, and identify contacts in a specific career field. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students interested in interning for credit should e-mail the International Studies Program Director by the deadline dates below to discuss their internship.  Students should then enroll in AS.192.501 Internship-International Studies<\/strong> by submitting the electronic Customized Academic Learning form located in SIS under the Registration tab and On-Line Forms.  Enrollment in this course requires submission of a 2-3 page reflection paper at the end of the internship experience that describes the student’s main achievements in the job and the relevance of the internship to their international studies education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please Note<\/strong>: <\/strong>The International Studies Program allows majors to earn a maximum of 3 credits for internship experiences over their four years of study. Only one academic credit may be earned per internship experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
