The International Studies Leadership Council concluded its Fall speaker series, \u201cThe 2020 Election and the Future of American Democracy,\u201d on November 9th<\/sup> with an event hosting Scott Warren, Agora Fellow and CEO of Generation Citizen. This engaging talk covered a vast array of election-focused topics including the role of education in youth activism, social media and polarization in the democratic process and the role of youth movements around climate science, firearm violence prevention and Black Lives Matter in bolstering voter turnout and engagement in the 2020 election.
