Based on the best-selling book &#8220;Oblivion: A Memoir&#8221; written by H\u00e9ctor Abad Faciolince, G\u00f3mez&#8217;s only son, the film recounts Faciolince&#8217;s childhood with his father and the circumstances surrounding his father&#8217;s murder by Colombian paramilitaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2025 Latin American Film Festival is co-sponsored by the Program in Latin American, Caribbean, and Latinx Studies and the Aronson Center for International Studies.
