Currently she also serves as Senior Advisor to the Provost for the Arts and as Deputy Dean in the Division of the Arts &amp; Humanities. Editor-in-Chief of the journal&nbsp;<em>Word &amp; Image<\/em>, she is a scholar of&nbsp;eighteenth- and nineteenth German&nbsp;literature, visual culture, and the material text.
