The Program in Medicine, Science, and the Humanities<\/a> in partnership with the Center for Medical Humanities and Social Medicine<\/a> are accepting applications for undergraduate and graduate Summer Research Fellowships. The fellowships will fund independent research in the medical humanities and\/or science & technology studies. Successful fellows will be required to present their research at a symposium during the Fall 2024 semester and to contribute to the MSH Research Blog<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n All applicants must be Krieger School students (of any major). Students graduating in Spring or Summer 2024 are not eligible. Students requiring HIRB clearance for human subjects research must receive approval by June 1, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Deadline for applications: Sunday, March 10, 2024, midnight EST<\/p>\n\n\n\n Decision notification: early April 2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n Required materials:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Complete application materials can be sent in a single email to nlabruto@jhu.edu and hdozier1@jhu.edu by midnight EST on Sunday, March 10, 2024. We have fun opportunities for council members: planning medical humanities events, field trips, and relaxation events; designing an MSH logo for sweatshirts; and more. Connect with other MSH majors and help shape the major! All grade levels are welcome. Email our Undergraduate Student Liaison Gabriel Lesser<\/a> for details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n MSH students have been on program-led field trips to Westminster Hall and Burial ground catacombs, the Maryland State Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (including the amazing Nutshell Studies of Unexplained Death), and on a canoe excursion on Baltimore\u2019s Middle Branch river.
