Hannah Weinberg-Wolf, class of 2013, received the Dean’s Undergraduate Research Award for her project “Please Touch: An Interactive Study on the Neurological Mechanisms of Tactile Aesthetics.” The project will take the form of an exhibit opening Spring 2013 in the new Gallery Q of the Eisenhower Library. Hannah is working with the Hsiao lab at JHU’s Mind/Brain Institute to design the exhibit, which will not only present how the brain perceives touch, but also gather scientific data about the aesthetics of touch.
