The event was designed, promoted, and hosted by students in Jennifer P. Kingsley&#8217;s course\u00a0<em>Museum Education for Today\u2019s Audiences<\/em>. Students spent the semester investigating informal learning models, museum visitor motivations and behavior, as well as researching college student needs, interests, and arts participation using both national survey data and formative evaluation techniques.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They also went behind the scenes, meeting with BMA Education Staff to learn more about the department&#8217;s activities, values, and goals, working especially closely with Tracey Beale, Director of Public Programs, and Anja Xkeka, Education Program Coordinator.
