Melissa Teixeira, Prize Fellow at the Center for History and Economics at Harvard University and Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania, will speak about her current book project, a comparative, transnational and global history of how social scientists, intellectuals, jurists, and politicians in Brazil and Portugal responded to economic and political crises in the wake of the Great Depression.
