TIAA now claims to be the largest private manager of farmland and forests globally. Learn about the devastating effects of TIAA’s land acquisitions for soy plantations in northeastern Brazil, as well as their buying of farmland in the United States, and hear about a campaign to pressure TIAA to change their practices. University students, faculty and staff have a key role to play in changing policies and practices of farmland tenure that threaten communities.
