“I graduated from Georgetown University in 2016 where I majored in economics. I worked in quantitative consulting in the financial services industry for several years before the post-bac. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Johns Hopkins, I had the opportunity to meet so many smart, motivated, caring people. I am still close with my friends from the program, who will not only be my colleagues in medicine but also lifelong friends. They just came to my wedding in August! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My medical tutorial was with Dr. Maria Trent, who specializes in adolescent\/young adult medicine at Hopkins. I worked directly with patients educating them on our study, and she supported me in developing my own project, which was a big part of my application to medical school. Dr. Trent is the best and remains a trusted mentor! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My top advice to prospective postbac students is to apply! Medicine, including the post-bac, is a challenging path, but it is so worth it. I am so glad I took the risk of changing careers starting with the post-bac program. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Morgan Snow majored in economics at Georgetown University. While in the postbac program, she completed a medical tutorial with Dr. Maria Trent in adolescent medicine.
