The Public Health Studies program is now accepting applications for the first James D. Goodyear Public Health Service in Baltimore Award. Named in honor of the former Associate Director of Public Health Studies, this award will provide a stipend of $3000 to one Public Health Studies undergraduate student per year, allowing the student to complete an otherwise unpaid public health service internship based in Baltimore City.
Applicants must have already secured an internship for the summer of 2016 in order to be considered for the award. An application essay, describing the scope of the internship and its relevance to your career development, current academics and future goals is required. View the application form for complete requirements.
Applications are due to Caroline Barry by 5pm on April 1st, 2016. Contact the Public Health Studies office with any questions.
