Clinical Research Opportunity at Hopkins Bayview

Posted: December 5, 2022

Are you a student majoring in public health and interested in a clinical research opportunity?

At the Behavioral Pharmacology Research Unit (BPRU), located at the Johns Hopkins Bayview campus, we are seeking a for-credit, long-term student intern for our studies investigating whether increased availability and appeal of e-cigarettes moderates the effect of altering the level of nicotine in cigarettes in smokers in vulnerable populations. The populations we work with are women of childbearing age and persons with opioid use disorder.

Responsibilities include conducting phone screens, attending meetings, and possibly running screens and sessions (after demonstrating proficiency). This position is mostly in-person (there is a direct shuttle between Homewood and Bayview), with some opportunities for remote work. We strongly prefer a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week.
