People around the world are experiencing the physical and mental health effects of the climate crisis. To meet this growing need, equitable, community-level public health interventions are needed to build resilience and strengthen mental health and wellness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month in May, join APHA\u2019s Center for Climate, Health and Equity for an interactive workshop on how to design mental health interventions with a public health approach, focusing on how to engage and prioritize vulnerable populations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This workshop will be partially based on recommendations from APHA and CDC’s Climate and Health Playbook: Adaptation Planning for Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion<\/a>. Attendees will have an opportunity to interact with one another during Zoom breakout rooms to discuss and design further interventions. This webinar is free thanks to a grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
