JHU undergraduate students have the unique opportunity to seek early admission to the Master of Health Science (MHS) degree at the Department of Environmental Health and Engineering. The combined Bachelor’s\/Master of Health Science program is\u00a0tailored to prepare students for careers that have a basic science foundation, including medicine, and to familiarize students with health policy and management issues (domestic and international), with other social and behavioral sciences and with the quantitative sciences fundamental to public health.\u00a0Up to one half of the public health credits earned inter-divisionally toward their Bachelor’s\u00a0may also apply toward their MHS\u00a0degree. Students in this program will receive co-advising from both schools to optimize their academic experience.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
