Students for Health Humanities (SHH)<\/a><\/strong>, an organization committed to fostering empathy, reflection, and compassion in healthcare through the humanities is holding their annual health humanities exhibition. This year, in collaboration with and funded by the Johns Hopkins Alumni Association and the Student Blue Jay Dialogue Innovation Fund, SHH will host its annual Health Humanities Exhibition<\/strong> on the fourth floor for the Bloomberg Student Center in room 404. This year\u2019s theme, Unsaid: Conversations, Communication, and Barriers in Healthcare<\/em><\/strong>, invites participants to consider what remains unspoken within healthcare systems, including communication challenges, health disparities, and the emotional experiences of both patients and providers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What to Expect<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Attendees will experience a diverse array of creative and scholarly works, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Visual art<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Writing and poetry<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Research-based work<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Multimedia projects<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Performance pieces<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    These pieces showcase how students interpret and express the complexities of healthcare through humanistic and artistic lenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
