In Army ROTC you will learn to become a leader, not just a person who gives orders but a person who leads by example and inspires results.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The leadership training and experiences that you have in Army ROTC will provide you with a foundation to become commissioned Army Officers upon graduation. Being an officer in the U.S. Army means you’re a counselor, a strategist, and a motivator. It’s similar to being a vital manager in a corporation. As an officer, you will lead other soldiers in all situations and adjust to environments that are always changing. You’ll be driven to achieve success with your team on every mission. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon completion of Officer branch training and a first assignment, Army Officers may pursue additional specialized training and post-graduate education opportunities. You will most likely be assigned to advanced leadership positions and to staff positions. Also, you may develop doctrine, teach military tactics or serve as advisors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After you graduate, you will be commissioned as a Second Lieutenant. There are a variety of interesting officer career fields, called branches, in the Army. Once you choose your Army branch, you will embark on specialized training and serve your commitment in either the active duty Army, the Reserves, or the National Guard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
