Bruce Barnett

Curriculum Vitae

Bruce Barnett is a professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the Johns Hopkins University. His current research is high energy proton-proton collisions within the CMS experiment at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC). Over the years, he has taught a large variety of courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level. He was the recipient of the 2007 Outstanding Faculty Award from the Maryland Association of Higher Education. He has served as the chair of the JHU Graduate Board as well as both vice chairman and acting chairman of his department. He is a fellow of the American Physical Society.
